Eat Some Bread, Buy Some Books

Don Q, a new Japanese bakery has opened in Singapore. This bakery is very well known in Japan, it has stores opened in Taiwan, Hong Kong and more. This review came a little late since they have been opened for quite some time, however I have news! They will be opening a second branch soon. Banzai! ヽ(^Д^)ノ Fluffy white bread with cookie rim or sauce filled centers. Cheese burst, chocolate sauce, hotdog filling, there are so many to choose from, it was hard for me to pick just two. They have little "must try!! おすすめ” red cards displayed with the popular choices. Greedy me picked up a Cheese Cookie which looks plain on the outside but was very cheesy and delicious and also a chocolenu, which was filled with chocolate chips and has a crunchy cookie top. The shop assistants are always busy topping up freshly baked pastries onto the trays. Queues run long because of their popularity. Next time you go to Takashimaya, please visit Don Q at #B2-03 for a slice of heaven. ( ^∇^)

Kinokuniya Bookstore.

Kinokuniya is the best bookstore to look for Japanese books or magazines. I visit to get my monthy fix of Japanese magazines like Vivi. If you love magazine supplements, there are always plenty stocked. Agnes B, Bape totes can be bought at a affordable price. ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ I found a book on cutie puppy Boo and also a helpful 100-calorie meal cookbook. There is a wide variety of manga and comic available. If you can't find something you want in stock, it's possible to order it from Japan, just check with the friendly staff ♪( ´▽`)
